General Manager - Mario Nola

Mario is a director of BTL and has been the General Manager since 2002. He is responsible for the general management and looks after our relationships with suppliers and key clients.

Mario's market experience is vast begining back in 1982 when he left scchool. Mario has experienced all facets of the controls industry and has a complete understanding not many can equal. Mario oversees our large scale projects with clients such as Westfield NZ, The University of Auckland, Fletchers and Precinct.

In his time outside of BTL, Mario enjoys playing softball, soccer and spending time with his family.


Sales Manager - Eddie Boysen

A director of BTL, Eddie has been the Sales Manager since 2003 in charge of sales targets and sales strategies. He has designed and delivered the Building Performance Programs (BPPs) and the Service Asset Register to increase efficiency and create clear service strategies for BTL clients.

Eddie has a BE degree, has completed post graduate studies in marketing and business management and has been involved in the HVAC control industry since 1999. He has worked on, and is the relationship manager for, large scale projects such as Westfield NZ, Farmers NZ, Transfield NZ, Eden Park and Wiri Mens Prison.

New Zealand Green Accreditation has been award to Eddie by the NZ Building Green Council, providing him with the ability to align clients to the Green Star Standards. BTL has become an ECCA approved commercial project grant provider.

Eddie enjoys spending time with family, motor cycle riding (he has a Suzuki TL1000) and swinging a golf club (when he’s allowed).

Operations Manager - Aaron Kerr

Aaron joined BTL in April 2009 and is the manager of the operations team, responsible for overall project and service work.

Aaron has over 15 years HVAC controls industry experience working on large scale projects such as Eden Park and The University of Auckland. He has five years operations management experience with large teams, over 15 years industrial experience and is a registered electrician.

Aaron is a family man, but when he gets the chance, hours are spent catching snapper in the Waitemata Harbour with his Dad, or he throws in the odd round of golf.


Technical Manager - Warren Pinker

Warren is BTL's technical advisor, specialising in providing integration solutions. A Director of BTL, and the technical manager since 2002, Warren has an NZCE from MIT and has been in the HVAC controls industry since 1986 with extensive knowledge in HVAC control design, software and sales.

Much of his time has been spent on providing technical support for the large scale project with The University of Auckland.

In his spare time, Warren is another family man who also enjoys riding his motorbike – a 1968 classic BMW.


Engineering Manager - Scott Peterson

A Director of BTL, and engineering manager since 2002, Scott is a senior design engineer providing high level engineering applications and diagnostic support.

Scott is the Central Engineering team leader with a BE in electrical from The University of Auckland, over 30 years experience in the HVAC controls industry and an extensive knowledge in HVAC control design and software.

A band member, Scott plays the E-flat horn and is his spare time enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
